ABOUT DEEFER DESIGN

2009 has been quite an interesting year for me.

It started with a position at Swindon based Creative Rush - a branding and design company - as a graphic / web designer. I was there for 7 months before the company decided to cease trading and so I went freelance again.
This time I decided to re-brand myself and so Deefer Design came to be after a few years of being Wasted Talent Designs, although WTD will still be a part of Deefer.

I worked on some great projects at Creative Rush and will publish some examples on this site when it's complete. As Deefer I have also been working on some great projects, both paid and personal.

The main project was a new website for new Heat Magazine editor, Sam Delaney.
Sam had a new book being released and no money so I designed and built him a website anyway. Shortly after he became the new editor at Heat and so it's become an ongoing project with updated news and photos. I also host and designed the blog for his podcast, Stupid Telly.

Website work and email marketing has become more popular for me recently, overtaking my first love, graphic design but both go hand in hand so it's always enjoyable.

My latest project is a site for the new QPR podcast, WE ARE QPR. Deefer Design will be hosting this show as well as covering all design, marketing, SEO and website design.
